At the end of 2018, UIS launched Konveio after years of exploring better ways to engage citizens around complex issues and information through our EngagingApps suite of tools. This year Konveio has come full circle, instantly filling a niche for content-based engagement that currently no other digital engagement tool serves well. As we shift our offerings to focus completely on making Konveio the best platform to create social documents that better convey information, collect feedback and spark action, we’ve learned that to drive change, clients want Konveio to play a more prominent role in extending digital engagement into the drafting and implementation stages of their projects.
More recently, during a meeting with Bang the Table’s CEO Matt Crozier, we discovered a multitude of synergies that Konveio joining their ecosystem would provide for communities. It presents the opportunity to extend citizen engagement supported by Bang the Tables’ EngagementHQ software into the later stages of civic projects and on to tracking indicators during implementation.
So today, we’re excited to announce a strategic partnership with Bang the Table that will integrate our Konveio document engagement software with their community engagement platform EngagementHQ.
Konveio makes interactive publishing, reviewing, and commenting on city documents more social, allowing local governments to elicit feedback, expand on ideas with contextual insights, or add rich media overlays right within the PDF. Combined with the EngagementHQ suite of feedback tools, local governments can now easily incorporate these draft or official documents into their community engagement outreach.
This partnership adds a new level of content engagement to EngagementHQ, providing shared clients with a seamless platform for outreach and empowering residents with an easy way to keep informed while providing input on official documents and city projects.
“We’re excited to offer our clients a new way to present and gain feedback around important documents. This new partnership makes PDF sharing within EngagementHQ easy for city officials while offering a more transparent and social experience for residents.” - Mathew Crozier, CEO of Bang the Table
“Integrating Konveio with EngagementHQ creates a start-to-finish engagement platform that extends the complete spectrum of community engagement tools to include an elegant way of presenting and capturing feedback on official city documents. Bang the Table is a leader in the digital engagement space and we’re excited to incorporate our new way of engagement into a more holistic methodology for local governments that engages citizens beyond city council approval and into the implementation stage of civic projects.” - Chris Haller, CEO of Konveio
This is the first of a three-phase rollout for the EngagementHQ and Konveio integration as the companies look to streamline participant data and comment analysis in the future for more robust reporting and better community-driven decision-making.
