Last week Chris Haller, Founder and CEO at Konveio, met with Amelia at Engage2 to walk through our content engagement platform designed to present content in engaging ways that better convey information, so you can collect informed feedback and foster support. Here’s a quick recap of what was covered during the interview:
Stakeholder buy-in is essential for implementing your plan or project. Two common pitfalls for creating buy-in are:
Konveio supports four key areas of content engagement:
An easy way to collect stakeholder feedback or public comments directly within PDFs of your draft documents. Users can see and comment on each other’s post as well.
Quickly put all your content such as PDFs, maps, and videos in one place so users do not have to jump around to different places on your website to find what they need. Makes reviewing your materials intuitive and fun.
The pandemic has made this feature very important as organizations are looking for ways to recreate or even reimagine their in-person meetings. You can publish meeting materials such as poster boards and presentations online for users to explore and respond to.
Eliminate back-and-forth emails by creating a space to seamlessly share information with internal and external stakeholders. Workspaces can be password protected or shared publicly.
We offer Konveio in two different versions, one based on PDFs, the other one based on landing pages:
The Konveio Docs platform enables you to upload PDFs of your plans, reports, poster boards, and other documents and allows users to give feedback directly within the PDF. The City of Cheyenne used Konveio Docs to collect comments on proposed rezoning options for the West Edge District. This enabled the City to get more robust input and directed feedback than they would normally get on sticky notes or comment cards at an in-person meeting.
Konveio Sites are structured around landing pages and use a building block approach to presenting content. This offers more flexibility in how you present your materials and allows for more of a self-guided process. The City of San Francisco used a Konveio Site to engage stakeholders as part of their Housing Element 2022 Update. They grouped key ideas into five categories so visitors can quickly give feedback on the topics that interest them. Once a visitor clicks on a topic, they can explore it in more detail, or move on to the next one.
